The Associated Press reports Tiger Woods is out of rehab and back in Florida. But here's what's not true about Tiger.
Golf Digest magazine reported that Tiger received phone calls of support from President Obama and former President Bill Clinton. But the magazine is now retracting the report, saying on its website, "We incorrectly reported that President Obama made a personal call to Tiger Woods to offer encouragement. That call never occurred."
Regarding the phone call from Clinton, Golf Digest now says, "We found that Mr. Clinton had 'wished him well' but it was Woods who had placed the call to Mr. Clinton on 'something unrelated.' " The magazine says both mistakes "were due to a misunderstanding between the writer and a trusted source."
