Fifteen years after JonBenét Ramsey's death, her father, 67-year-old John Ramsey, is starting a new life. He lost wife Patsy to cancer in 2006, but he has found love again. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
JonBenét Ramsey's dad beamed as he got remarried. John Ramsey, now 67, just tied the knot with a fashion designer from Las Vegas in an intimate ceremony in Michigan.
His beauty queen daughter would have turned 21 next week. Ramsey also lost his wife Patsy to ovarian cancer in 2006 when she was just 49.
Ramsey had a brief romance with the parent in another notorious unsolved case, Beth Holloway, the mother of Natalee Holloway.
He met his bride at a mutual friend's wedding two years ago. 53-year-old Jan Rousseaux has two adult daughters. She designs a clothing line for female bikers, as well as sexy ensembles for Vegas showgirls. On Facebook, she writes, "My life is exciting, rewarding, and very challenging!"
The lakeside community of Charlevoix, Michigan where Ramsey got married is special to him. He and Patsy used to own a summer home there. It was also where JonBenét won the Little Miss Charlevoix title two years before she was murdered.
Ramsey is quoted in the National Enquirer as saying that Patsy would be happy that he's moving on: "Before she died, she said, 'Well, we're going to have to find you a new wife.' "
As for his little girl, whose murder captured the attention of the world, he says she would be proud of her dad's life today: "I have no doubt she will be smiling."
In 2008, the Boulder, Colorado District Attorney cleared the Ramsey family of any involvement in JonBenét's death.
