Bristol Palin Heckler Says He Doesn't Regret Comments

Some have said the bar fight between Bristol Palin and a man in a bar was a staged publicity stunt for her reality show. It turns out the man is actually a Hollywood talent agent.  INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

We've now learned the identity of the loudmouth in that barroom showdown with Bristol Palin.

"Your mother's a [expletive] devil, dude," said Stephen Hanks.

He's a big-time Hollywood talent manager.

Hanks says he doesn't regret the face-off, which happened while Sarah Palin's 20-year-old daughter was shooting an episode of a reality show at a restaurant in West Hollywood.

"It felt good to get it off my chest," Hanks now says, "I just don't like that family."

But some say the attacks were uncalled for.

"The guy was out of line and crass," one blogger writes. Another calls him "a vile hatemonger."

Bristol got near unanimous support from the ladies of The View.

Sherri Shepherd said, "I'm sick of people thinking they can attack your mother, your kids, and then you're not going to say anything back. I mean, you came at her."

Bristol, meanwhile, is defending herself against charges of homophobia triggered by this exchange:

"Is it because you're a homosexual?" asked Bristol.

"Pretty much," said Hanks.

"And that's why you hate her?" asked Bristol.

"And why'd you say I'm a homosexual?" asked Hanks.

"Because I can tell you are," said Bristol.

Bristol's spokesman says, "Accusing her of homophobia is completely unfounded and totally misstates her views."

He says Bristol was, "standing her ground and defending her family."
