John Walsh sat down with INSIDE EDITION to weigh in the case of missing baby Lisa Irwin.
America's Most Wanted host John Walsh says people should not to rush to judgment in the baby Lisa mystery.
"Look at the family, absolutely, but don't discount the fact that somebody could have come in the middle of the night," said Walsh.
But Walsh is also urging baby Lisa's embattled parents to cooperate with police and tell what they know.
"They should cooperate with police fully. They should do all the media they can and they should remember one thing—if they had nothing to do with their daughter's disappearance, they need to be the face of baby Lisa," said Walsh.
Walsh speaks from his own terrible experience. His son Adam was kidnapped and slain 30 years ago by a sex offender. He says that while cops in Kansas City are focusing on the family, it's not beyond the realm of possiblity that baby Lisa was taken by a stranger.
Walsh said, "They should be interviewing and looking very hard at every convicted sex offender that lives within 20 miles of that family."
Although the weekly series America's Most Wanted was cancelled in June, Walsh is hosting a new TV special airing Saturday about the world's 50 worst fugitives.
Meanwhile, baby Lisa's parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, abruptly cancelled a scheduled police interview with the infant's two half-brothers, who were home when Lisa was last seen alive.
