Eleven couples are exchanging wedding vows in New York at a very special time, day and year, 11 a.m. on 11/11/11.
One woman actually scheduled a c-setion to give birth to her twins at New York's Roosevelt Hospital on this special date.
Clearly 11/11/11 has everybody just a little crazy.
"The biggest baby day of the year, 11/11/11," said Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos.
"It's 11/11/11, and all these kids are turning eleven today," said Al Roker on the Today show.
Depending on who you ask, this once-in-a-century phenomenon is either the luckiest or the unluckiest day in history. Lets hope for these brides and grooms, it's the luckiest. But some people see 11/11/11 in a whole other light.
One headline says it all: "Egypt closes pyramid amid rumors of mysterious 11/11/11 ritual."
In the new movie 11/11/11, terrible things happen on this unusual date.
"On this day, innocent blood will spoil," says the 11/11/11 trailer.
Fortunately, most think that 11/11/11 is a new beginning.
