A home video of two kids wreaking havoc on their home with a five-pound bag of flour is sweeping the internet. Their exasperated mom can be heard reacting as she surveyed the damage with the video camera.
Skeptics say a three-year-old and a one-year-old would never have been able to spread the flour so evenly all over the floor and furniture. It's even on the door and the family photos on the wall. Their mother also sounds remarkably calm considering the state of her home, simply repeating "Oh my Gosh" over and over and over again.
The mom's name is Mary Napoli, and she says it was a very real parenting nightmare. She says she got back from the grocery store and rushed to the bathroom because she was feeling sick. She forgot to lock the cupboard holding the brand new large bag of flour. When she came back, she says she found the place covered in flour.
Napoli said, "As soon as I stopped recording, I sat in the middle of the floor in the living room and started crying."
Napoli, who acts in community theater near her home outside Detroit, says she whipped out the video camera to capture the scene for her husband, Vince. Then she called her mother-in-law for help. It took them eight hours to clean it all up!
"I mean, we haven't even paid off those couches yet," Napoli added.
Many INSIDE EDITION viewers aren't buying it. Our poll found that 59% percent of voters doubt Napoli's story.
On our Facebook page, Melissa writes, "As fake as fake can get…it clearly showed her feet and jeans covered in flour - that doesn't happen from walking through the house chanting 'Oh my Gosh'."
But Missi says, "I think it's real. Had a similar experience with my son when he was about that age. Flour goes everywhere!"
