The Latest on Whitney Houston's Passing

INSIDE EDITION has the latest details on Whitney Houstons sudden death and how her family and friends are reacting today to the tragic news.

The body of Whitney Houston was released from the coroner's office Monday and taken to the airport where the singing legend will be reportedly flown to her native New Jersey for burial.

Investigators reportedly found a half dozen bottles of prescription pills in the room including Xanax, Valium, Lorazepam and Amoxicillin, which Houston was taking to treat a sore throat.

Dr. Gail Saltz said to INSIDE EDITION, "It depends on the amount and the combination of drugs that are being used. But the potential is there for death."

They also found the painkillers Ibuprofen and Midol, a drug that treats menstrual cramps.

Some of the prescriptions reportedly came from the Mickey Fine pharmacy in Beverly Hills, where Michael Jackson had numerous prescriptions filled.

Houston's entourage was just a few steps away as she was dying in a bathtub for a reported thirty minutes at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret reports from the Beverly Hilton, "Houston was staying in a fourth-floor suite when she decided to talk a bath. Half an hour later, her hairdresser knocked on the bathroom door. When she went in, she found the music superstar face-up in the water. She and a bodyguard tried to revive her, but it was too late," said Moret.

An autopsy has reportedly showed that she weighed 150 pounds. Her throat was inflamed from a soreness. The autopsy also reportedly showed that there wasn't enough water in her lungs to have drowned her, suggesting that Houston was already dead before she slid under the water in the bathtub.

Bobby Brown arrived in Los Angeles hand-in-hand with his fiancée, Alica, looking shell-shocked over the death of his ex-wife.

Brown came to comfort his daughter, 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina, who has reportedly suffered a complete breakdown over the death of her mother and was twice rushed to the hospital for treatment. Some reports said she had to be given a sedative by Houston's entourage.

Houston's daughter was in the lobby of the hotel around the time her mother was pronounced dead in room 434 on Saturday.

She struggled with cops as she tried to get into the room, reportedly screaming, "What's wrong with her? What's wrong with her?"

Roger Friedman of Showbizz 411 was staying at the hotel when this happened.

Friedman told INSIDE EDITION, "It seems like her day was a strange dichotomy. Being healthy in the morning, working out, doing her thing, being very up all day long and then going out at night and really partying hard."

Houston's grieving boyfriend, Ray J, covering his face as he was escorted from the scene, and was comforted by his sister, Brandy. He was heard to say, "Whitney's dead. We all gotta live with that."
