A Soccer Mom Allegedly Running A Brothel Is Busted

Anna Gristina seemed like your typical suburban soccer mom, but authorities say she was a madam in a prositution ring in New York City. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

A soccer mom is accused of running a multi-million dollar prostitution ring.

44-year-old Anna Gristina was dowdy when she appeared in court for the first time charged with promoting prostitution.

She turned her head away from the cameras as she talked with her attorneys - then pled not guilty and was held on $2 million bail.

The high bail mystified her defense attorney:

"What we have here is a mother, a loving mother of four, who has been slapped with a $2 million bond. There's something missing here and I'm hoping to get to the bottom of it," said her attorney in a press conferance.

Gristina allegedly ran a brothel on the second floor of a Upper East Side apartment building on East 78th Street in New York City. According to prosecutors, wealthy Wall Street bankers, hedge fund managers and real estate developers paid up to $2,000 each to spend time with stunning former Playboy and Penthouse models.

The New York Post called Gristina, "Madam Triple X." The Daily News said she made $10 million in the sex trade.

Her husband Kelvin Gorr told INSIDE EDITION on Wednesday, "Things have been overwhelming"

Police are also looking for her business partner, Jaynie Baker, who fled before she could be arrested and is said to be hiding in Los Angeles.

Gristina lived in a sprawling property in upstate Monroe, New York with her husband and four children.

Gristina has an unusual past time, she rescues potbellied pigs and her Facebook page even shows photos of their pot-bellied pigs.

It's very different from the life of a high-class call girl portrayed in the new Lifetime TV show, The Client List, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt.
