Robert F. Kennedy's Estranged Wife, Mary Kennedy is Dead

Tragedy strikes the Kennedy family once again as Robert Kennedy Jr.'s wife was found dead at her home in Mount Kisco, New York.

The town of Bedford police department responded to her home at 1:36 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a "possible unattended death."

Initial reports indicate that Mary Kennedy took her own life.

Mary, 52, married Bobby Jr. in 1994. The couple went through many rocky times before he filed for divorce  two years ago this week. Her life apparently had spun out of control since.

Three days after he filed for divorce, Mary was charged with driving under the influence by cops after she failed a sobriety test.

The Kennedys had four children together. The family was seen together at the funeral of Ted Kennedy in 2009.

Robert Kennedy Jr., son of  the assassinated senator Robert Kennedy and nephew of JFK, has most recently been dating the actress Cheryl Hines, best known for her role in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
