It was a sandwich emergency as a customer at a deli in East Hartford, Connecticut, called 911 when they didn't make his sandwich the way he ordered it.
The caller said to the 911 dispatcher: "I specifically asked for little turkey and little ham and a lot of cheese and a lot of mayonnaise and they're giving me a hard time and I'm wondering if you can stop by."
911 Dispatcher: "You're calling 911 because you don't like the way that they're making your sandwich!"
Dispatcher: "Just walk away and don't buy it, if they don't want to make it the way you want it."
The deli owner said the customer ordered 14 sandwiches over the phone, but when he came to pick them up, he claimed she got his order all wrong.
Caller: "She's telling me she won't make it for me again. I just want to solve this the right way. They're giving me a hard time. They're playing games with me."
It's not the first time someone has called 911 for a ridiculous reason. A woman called 911 when her local McDonalds ran out of chicken nuggets. A child once called 911 because they needed help with their math homework.
This time, the dispatcher actually sent officers over to the sandwich shop.
Dispatcher: "You can stay there or stay outside. I'll send somebody."
When cops showed up they made the guy pay for the sandwiches he ordered. We bet he regrets making such a beef over a sandwich.
