A U.S. Ambassador is dead, along with three colleagues, as anti-American riots erupt in Libya and Egypt, on September 11th.
The Ambassador died of smoke inhalation as he tried to lead his staff out of the blazing consulate.
President Obama said in a statement, "I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens."
