Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter, reflected on her tension-filled appearance on The View.
"I wanted to kiss them all after that show," said Coulter.
"Your facts are, just a little shaky." said Whoopi Goldberg. "Tell me how much you know about being black."
INSIDE EDITION's Diane McInerney asked, "Why do you think it got so heated between you and Whoopi?"
"I don't know, but I'm so happy because it got a lot of press," said Coulter.
On The View, Goldberg said, "If you're going to talk about race, at least...at least know what you're talking about."
"When Whoopi says to you, 'At least know what your'e talking about,' what went through your mind?" asked McInerney.
"That she hadn't cracked the book. Because what she said was, 'How can you talk about what black people feel?' But it's not about how black people feel. It's about how white liberals behave," said Coulter.
Coulter couldn't resist a dig at some of her tormentors, saying, "I think they're not big readers, because they hadn't read the book."
And she says she's learned to expect a frosty reception during interviews.
"I've been doing this for a long time. I expect almost everyone interviewing me to hate me," said Coulter.
