A tough question from Barbara Walters to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is stirring up controversy.
The question came during Walters 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 show on ABC.
Walters said to Christie, “I am embarrassed to ask this. You are a little overweight.”
Christie responded, “More than a little.”
Walters said, “There are people who say you can't be president because you are so heavy.”
Christie responded, “That's ridiculous. That's ridiculous. If people watched me during the last number of weeks during Hurricane Sandy working 18 hour days, that won't be a problem."
On The View, Walters admitted that it wasn't an easy question to ask.
Walters said, "I hated asking the question, he's a terrific man. But people are worried. If he does run, he's had asthma, he's had this. Should his weight be even a consideration?"
