Prancercise Creator Becomes Internet Sensation

INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent got a workout from 61-year-old Joanna Rohrback who created her own form of exercise she calls "prancercise" that has become an internet sensation.

Meet the prancing queen, a woman who's on top of the world with an exercise phenomenon, inspired by the way horses move. She calls her moves “Prancercise.”

Joanna Rohrback isn't horsing around. That's the title of her book as well as a video which has gone viral and is making her a star.

Believe it or not, Joanna, a 61-year-old social worker from Coral Springs, Florida actually invented prancercise more then 20 years ago, but it didn't catch on.

The internet put her back in the saddle again, and now she prancercizes wherever she goes, saying it's a fun, low-impact workout.

She said, "You balance your weight from side to side, so there's no pounding the pavement."

There's not much speed to prancercizing. People even walk past her as she does her routine. You can even pause to stop and smell the roses while doing it.

INSIDE EDITION’s Les Trent tried prancercizing with Joanna and he said, "It feels silly! But I do feel like I'm getting some exercise!"

Joanna replied, "Oh, you are!"
