Dr. Conrad Murray, who is currently serving time for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson, reached out to Michael's troubled daughter, Paris. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

Dr. Conrad Murray is reaching out from behind bars to comfort Paris Jackson. That's right, the physician convicted of killing her dad wants her to know, he's there for her.

In a chilling recording he said, “Paris, this is a letter to you. I wanted to let you know that I am here for you Paris. I'm here for you. And I will always be there, even when we are apart.”

Murray made the recording from a California prison where he's serving four years for involuntary manslaughter. He offers Paris advice and encouragement.

He said, “I can tell you're not doing well and I don't know if there is anything I can do to salve your pain or help you with your problem but I wanted you to know that I am here for you. I have never been gone.

He then talked about her father, "Your father loved you beyond any explanation. Paris I too love you as a precious father loves his own child and I will always.”

And get this, he even quotes lyrics from Michael Jackson songs, like “You Are Not Alone,” he said, “When you feel all alone or your heart feels heavy, when everything around you seems to cause dismay, just know that you are not alone.”

The reaction online has been of disbelief. One fan said, “You have some nerve trying to befriend the child of the man you killed."

"This insane idiot felon doesn't realize he is the primary reason for Paris' despair!,” said another.

The recording is four minutes long and he wraps it up with a desperate plea for Paris to get in touch with him.

He said, “Paris, if ever you need a talk with me, if you like that person to be me, if you think about it. All you have to do is say so and I will make it happen. I hope that you'll get well soon and don't forget that you're loved. I will now leave you with tears in my eyes. Your father in Christ, Conrad Murray.”
