Anthony Weiner's Campaign Aide Blasts Former Intern With Profanity-Laced Tirade

As if it couldn't get any worse for Anthony Weiner, now his top aide is in hot water for her potty-mouth rant to a former intern who published a tell-all article. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.

Another day, another scandal engulfing Anthony Weiner's mayoral campaign.

Weiner's communications director, Barbara Morgan unleashed a profanity-laced tirade against a former intern, Olivia Nuzzi who wrote a tell-all article about the campaign for the New York Daily News.

Morgan told the website talking points memo that the former intern was a quote "slutbag" and a fame hungry "bitch" who "sucked" at her job. She also used the "C" word.

"I'm dealing with stupid (blank-ing) interns...I tried to fire her, but she begged to come back," Morgan said.

"Nice (blank-ing) glamour shot on the cover of the Daily News. Man, see if you ever get a job in this town again," Morgan also said.

Morgan is the Weiner aide who carefully orchestrated that now-infamous stand-by-your-man press conference.

Overnight, she apologized: "In a moment of frustration, I used inappropriate language in what I thought was an off the record conversation. It was wrong and I am very sorry."

The former intern just tweeted: "Well, today will certainly be interesting. As to Barbara Morgan's apology, of course I accept it."

And the embattled candidate is refusing to quit in a just-released new campaign ad. The ad was shot in his New York City living room. Weiner looks "tired, trodden, alone," says The New York Times.

Wife, Huma Abedin who appeared by his side at that press conference, can be seen only in a wedding photo over Weiner's shoulder.

Weiner's sexting partner, 23-year-old college sophomore Sydney Leathers told shock jock Howard Stern her next move may be in the porn industry.

"I am keeping all my options open," said Leather.

"Would you be opposed to having sex on camera?" asked Stern.

"You know, we'll see what happens," she replied.
