INSIDE EDITION reports on former "Survivor" producer Bruce Beresford-Redman whose wife was murdered on their Cancun vacation. The TV producer is now being charged with first degree murder in the case.
INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret went outside the home of TV producer Bruce Beresford-Redman who has just been charged with first degree murder in the death of his wife Monica.
Mexican officials are demanding his immediate arrest and return to Mexico, and since the U.S. has an extradition treaty with Mexico, that arrest could happen at any time.
On Memorial day, Redman was spotted outside his home, playing with his two children.
Redman's father wouldn't talk, simply taking pictures of the media gathered outside the house.
Redman is accused of killing his wife Monica during a family vacation at the Moon Palace hotel in Cancun. Her body was found underneath a sewer grate on the hotel property.
Redman, a former producer of the TV hit Survivor, was told not to leave Mexico while he was under investigation. But he sneaked back into the U.S. two weeks ago.
In a statement, Redman said "I am innocent."
His attorney, Richard Hirsch, claims Monica's murder is one of several random acts of violence at the hotel.
"There are strange things going on that I think need to be pursued," said Hirsch.
In a statement to INSIDE EDITION, Monica's family says they are pleased that Mexican authorities have finally taken legal steps to arrest Redman. Their statement read, "We are hopeful Monica will finally get the justice she deserves."
Redman says he will fight extradition to Mexico.
