Kathleen Sebelius Testifies To House On Healthcare Website Problems

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testifed before the House, saying she is accountable for the problematic website. INSIDE EDITION reports.

Kathleen Sebelius was under siege as she apologized for the Obamacare website fiasco.

Sebelius stated to the House, "You deserve better. I apologize."

The Health and Human Services secretary even had to endure the embarrassment of being shown a live display of the website.

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn) pointed to the live display and said, "This is what is happening right now with this website. We've had somebody in the back trying to sign on. It is down. It is not working. Who is in charge Madame Secretary?"

"Hold me accountable for the debacle. I'm responsible," said Sebelius.

The Drudge Report today called her "The Most Hated Woman in America."

She and the Obamacare website are being mercilessly skewered on Saturday Night Live and the late night shows.

Jimmy Fallon joked, "With all the trouble with the Obamacare website, 12% of America actually think it's going well. The people waiting for healthcare said, 'Can you share some of the drugs that you're on with the rest of us? Because it's clearly not going well.' "

Jay Leno joked, "There was some good news today for embattled Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Obamacare will cover all her injuries after the White House throws her under the bus."

So, who is Kathleen Sebelius? She's 65 and a former governor of Kansas. Her husband, Gary, is a federal judge. She has two sons and is a big fan of jazz music.

Now, even a cupcake store, of all places, has been drawn into the website debacle.

Carmen Rodriquez says her phone at Brooklyn Cupcakes is ringing off the hook because her cupcake store in Brooklyn, New York was mistakenly listed as a location where people can receive personal advice about their healthcare options.

Rodriguez told INSIDE EDITION, "We can't give anybody healthcare, but we can give them the best cupcake they've ever tasted."

Apparently, you can now get cupcakes with your healthcare.
