Face of Healthcare Website Comes Forward

The woman who was the face of the government's troubled healthcare website reveals backlash over the website debacle hit close to home for her. INSIDE EDITION has more.

She was the face of the Obamacare website who weathered scorn and ridicule and now she's coming forward and revealing she's not an American citizen.

She broke her silence  today on Good Morning America and asked that she be identified only by her first name, Adriana.

"I'm a wife and a mother and I'm not a professional model," said Adriana.

Adriana became the focus of national interest during the Heathcare.gov debacle. She says all the attention really got to her.

"As a kid, I never went through that and now I am. It's some sort of bullying," said Adriana.

Her face has since been removed from the troubled website. And get this—she wasn't even paid for the use of her image.

Adriana was born in Colombia but has been a permament resident of the USA for six years. She acknowledges she is not a U.S. citizen.

During contentious congressional hearings Wednesday, officials working on the troubled healthcare.com website were grilled about when it will be running smoothly.

Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said, "Every one of you should have been close enough to know there was something wrong, to ask somebody in one of those many meetings, 'Are we sure this is going to work?' "

A new  poll shows the number of Americans who approve of the job President Obama is doing is at an all-time low. It's down to just 39 percent. [Source: Quinnipiac University]

And opposition to Obamacare has risen from 47 percent to 55 percent.
