The pressure was on as a high school senior went online to learn if she had been accepted to the college of her choice. And just to add a little more pressure to the situation, her mom was recording it for posterity.
Moments like this are playing out all over the country as high school students are hearing back from the colleges they hope to attend and posting the joyous videos online.
In another case, a whole group of seniors got the good news from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania.
We especially like one guy who got accepted to Claremont McKenna in California, and shouted, "Oh my God, oh my God!" We counted, he said "Oh my God" a total of 25 times as he wept with joy over his acceptance.
Another guy got the news the old-fashioned way, in a letter which he sure took his time opening. A family said on video, "He can't even get an envelope open and he wants to go to college!"
But he had the last laugh, annoucning, "Oh yeah! It says, 'Congratulations! Early admission to Virginia Tech, Fall of 2014!' "
In short, there's no news like good news from the college you hope to attend.
