Hotel Walmart? Teen Lives in Walmart For Four Days

A teenager decided to stay in his local Walmart and it was days before anyone ever caught him. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

Camp-out in aisle five. A teenager has been found living in a Walmart.

The 14-year-old runaway built two makeshift campsites. One was behind large boxes in the aisle where baby strollers are sold. The other sleeping nook was behind a stack of paper towels and toilet paper. For food, he took stashes of snacks and drinks right off the shelves.

He was reportedly living inside the Walmart near Dallas for four days. So how come no one noticed him?

To avoid suspicion, the teen changed clothes every few hours. Of course, right off the racks from the boy's department. He even wore diapers so that store employees wouldn't see him going to the bathroom.

It's just like the 2002 Natalie Portman movie, Where the Heart Is. The movie is based on the true story of a pregnant teenager who lived in an Oklahoma Walmart for weeks. Washing in the bathroom, sleeping in the camping aisle, putting everything back in it's place every morning.

But the Texas teen runaway wasn't as careful. He left a trail of trash that led store workers to his hiding place, ending his stay at hotel Walmart.
