Tip To Delivery Man Goes Horribly Wrong

One delivery man got the shock of his life when the people he delivered food to asked for his tip back. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

Jarrid Tansey made a $42 delivery to an auto dealership in Westport, Massachusetts, only to be called back to return seven dollars in change he had assumed was a tip.

Surveillance video shows Tansey politely explaining himself to the people at the dealership.

"Here's your change. I'm not mad, I just had to waste my resources coming back here," he said.

Reflecting on the video, Tansey said, "I'm just trying to stay cool and collective."

But the customers were not polite. Far from it!

One said, "So listen, the manager apologized once for you. Do you want him to apologize again for you?"

Tansey responded, "You got your seven dollars back so, the world is right now."

One woman at the dealership made a cruel taunt as Jarrid leaves. She told him, "Out the door before I put my foot in your [expletive]."

Tansey said, "The woman in the video was just so aggressive towards me."

One guy's nasty parting words, telling his co-worker, "Get the [expletive] owner and the manager on the phone. I want that [expletive] done! I want him fired!"

The video was posted on the internet, and the backlash against the dealership workers was instantaneous!

One person wrote, "A bunch of idiots!"

Another said, "It's unimaginable how rude and heartless these people are!"

There is a happy ending for the delievery man and says they will give him a tip. The owner of the dealership has apologized for what happened. A Go Fund Me collection to make up for his lost tip is up to more than $5,000 and counting!
