Boston Mayor Begs Residents To Stop Jumping Out Of Windows

With a record 100 inches of snow, some Boston residents are jumping out of their windows into big piles of the powder, but the mayor is begging them, ‘Don’t jump!’ INSIDE EDITION has details.

They call it the Boston Blizzard Challenge.

Thrill seekers are stripping down to their skivvies and jumping into the snow! Some even leap out  windows.

Others jump off roofs. Porch railings are another launching pad.

Now, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, upset about all of these viral videos, is telling residents to chill out!

Walsh said, "It's a foolish thing to do, and you could kill yourself. So I'm asking people to stop their nonsense."

Believe it or not, Charlie Rose of CBS This Morning is actually up for the challenge.

He explained, "If you knew exactly where you're jumping and you know that it's going to be a safe landing, I would do it."

Gayle King gave a warning, saying "I am with the mayor of Boston. Knock it off people, somebody's gonna get hurt!"
