The widow of the dead Boston Marathon bomber could face criminal charges herself.
Police reportedly believe that 25-year-old Katherine Russell, who converted to Islam before marrying Tamerlan Tsarnaev, accompanied him when he bought five pressure cookers at a Macy’s department store.
Just weeks later, two bombs made from pressure cookers exploded at the finish line.
Katherine Russell now lives in an apartment building in North Bergen, New Jersey, about ten miles outside New York City. She moved there after the bombings to live with her dead husband's sisters. Her attorney says she had no knowledge of the evil attack her husband was planning.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed in a shootout with police. His younger brother, Dzhokhar, was captured hiding in a boat. His trial began on Wednesday. Victims traveled by bus to confront him in Federal court.
The parents of eight-year-old Martin Richard sobbed as the prosecutor said their son "bled to death on the sidewalk" after Dzhokhar Tsarnaev planted a pressure cooker bomb right next to him.
