Jill Messick was Rose McGowan’s manager in 1997 when the actress says she was raped by Harvey Weinstein. Messick, 50, a studio executive and producer, died by suicide on Wednesday. The family of McGowan’s former manager is calling her suicide “collateral damage” in the Harvey Weinstein scandal. McGowan was on ‘The View,’ and was asked by co-host Joy Behar if she told her manager what happened with Weinstein. “Yes, but she got a job with him for seven years right afterwards,” McGowan said.
