Water Deliveries to Colorado River Users May Be Released Due to Shortages

There is a water shortage in the southwest part of the U.S. Things are getting so bad that it might be necessary to reduce water delivery to Colorado River users. Doing this will prevent a shutdown of the Glen Canyon Dam. Glen Canyon Dam supplies water to about five million people. Officials banked on melting snow filling up Lake Powell. Snow has melted, but temperatures are hotter than normal, causing the lake to shrink even more. Inside Edition Digital has more.
