As the Trumps Pose for Annual Christmas Portrait, Critics Ask: 'Where's Barron?'

The 11-year-old was noticeably absent from this year's holiday greeting.

The president and first lady stand hand-in-hand at the White House for their first official Christmas portrait, but many on social media are questioning where their son Barron is.

The card, shared earlier in the week, shows Melania in a gown and the president in a tuxedo, but there's no sign of the youngest resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue may be.

"I'd love to see Barron in the first family Christmas card," one social media user wrote.

"Barron didn’t make the cut?" said another.

It's common, however, for the first couple to pose without their children.

Bill and Hillary Clinton in 1998 appeared in the photo together while leaving out Chelsea.

In 2002, George W. and Laura Bush posed without their daughters.

The Obamas also posed without daughters Sasha and Malia for a handful of Christmas portraits, although the girls were included in their final Christmas picture in 2016.
