Obama and Castro Had a Really Awkward Handshake

Even the heads of state have awkward moments.

Social media went wild over an awkward moment between President Obama and Cuban President Raul Castro during the commander-in-chief’s historic trip.

During a meeting in Havana on Monday night, Castro raised Obama’s arm just as he was about to shake his hand. The result was a limp wrist.

Obama became the first sitting American president in 88 years to visit the communist island nation. He touched down with the first family on Sunday and is concluding his trip on Tuesday.
