Brazilians take their soccer so seriously that no one is allowed to interfere with a game – unless you're a dog.
In a match between rival clubs Oeste and Capivariano on Wednesday, a dog managed to wander into the stadium and onto the field.
The stray brought the game to a halt before racing away from soccer players trying to catch it. When one eventually caught up with it, the pup lunged at some Oeste players.
It turns out that the dog was a Capivariano fan. Player Alex was able to scoop it up without issue and carry it off the field.
The dog may have brought Capivariano some luck, as they won 2-1.
