Weight Controversy Doesn't Stop Chris Christie From Eating Pizza

So much for the diet!
 
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was caught chowing down on pizza at a restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Christie is in Los Angeles on a fundraising trip and stopped for a slice at Mulberry Street Pizzeria. The high calorie lunch comes just one week after the governor poked fun at his weight problem on the Late Show and assured everyone that he was working on it.

David Letterman joked with Christie, "Do you ever discuss, 'Oh, maybe I need to go on a diet?' Ever have that?"

Christie laughed and said, "Everyday."

We never heard of pizza in a diet.

After lunch, the governor was asked how the West Coast pizza stacked up to a slice of New Jersey's best. He said, “I'd give it a 'B.’”
