Aliens Wouldn't Come As Surprise To Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live that he wouldn't be surprised if aliens visited the Earth one day. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

Former President Bill Clinton says aliens are out there, and last night he told Jimmy Kimmel that  when he was president he demanded to see secret files on UFOs and the mysterious Air Force base known as Area 51.

"They're out there," said Clinton.

He wanted to know if the U.S was keeping a captured alien alive just like in the movie, Area 51.

Clinton told Kimmel, "You remember there was a great sci-fi movie where there was an alien kept deep underground at Area 51. First, I had people go look for all the records on Area 51 to make sure there was no alien down there."

The secrecy around Area 51 made it the focus of conspiracy theorists and UFO researchers. It turns out to be where stealth technology was developed.

The president also demanded briefings on those wild claims of a close encounter with aliens at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.

"If you saw that there were aliens, would you tell us?" asked Kimmel.

"Yeah!" replied Clinton.

Kimmel confirmed, "You would?"

"I would," said Clinton.

Clinton's revelations are causing a big stir:

Fox & Friends said, "Did you know the first thing President Clinton did in the White House was look into Area 51?"

The president said a visit from aliens is quite possible, just like the movie Independence Day.

Clinton said, "If we were visited some day, I wouldn't be surprised. I just hope it's not like Independence Day."
