    A 99-year-old woman was shocked when she woke up to an exotic animal sitting on her chest. The kinkajou, which is part of the raccoon family, had escaped from its Florida owner's home and crawled into the elderly woman's bed. The exotic creature was brought to the South Dade Animal Hospital. The kinkajou is typically found in the rainforests of Central and South America. Officials say that this one is a pet and will be returned to his owner.

    Fire Captain No Longer Needs Reading Glasses After Groundbreaking New Surgery

    Captain A.J. Martinez has a ton of glasses for various things he needs to do like look at a computer and has many spares for wherever he goes. He turned to Dr. Robert Lin for the newly approved KAMRA eye surgery that the doctor says will enable him to read without glasses. The San Diego firefighter says he was blindsided when he turned 50 years old and suddenly "woke up in the morning and had blurry vision and I couldn't figure it out." Martinez says he felt great after the procedure and had no pain.
