    Families of Brothers Separated During Holocaust Find Each Other 77-Years-Later

    The family of two brothers, Abram Belz and Chaim Belzhitsky, torn apart decades ago during the holocaust find each other at last. On opposite sides of the world, Abram's relatives in New Jersey and Chaim's descendants in Russia meet through skype. Abram died at 95-years-old in 2011. Chaim passed away at 71 in 1970. Abram's mother with the help of her daughter started searching through online records and found Chaim's relatives. They met for the first time through Skype.

A man reportedly seen in surveillance footage plucking the festive holiday laser lights from a Staten Island front yard recently was chastised by Community Education Council 31 President Michael Reilly on Facebook following the theft.

    Fire Captain No Longer Needs Reading Glasses After Groundbreaking New Surgery

    Captain A.J. Martinez has a ton of glasses for various things he needs to do like look at a computer and has many spares for wherever he goes. He turned to Dr. Robert Lin for the newly approved KAMRA eye surgery that the doctor says will enable him to read without glasses. The San Diego firefighter says he was blindsided when he turned 50 years old and suddenly "woke up in the morning and had blurry vision and I couldn't figure it out." Martinez says he felt great after the procedure and had no pain.
