    Parents Use Bumper Stickers To Find Kidney Donor For Sick 2-Year-Old Son

    2-year-old Eddie Beal desperately needs transplant surgery in order to live a long healthy life. He was born with only one, low functioning kidney. The anticipated wait time for Eddie is three years because of new changes to the donor system in California. Eddie's parents, who aren't suitable matches, came up with a creative approach to find their son one. They've made these bumper stickers and posted them on the back of their car hoping to get the attention of someone with a B+ blood type.

    Fire Captain No Longer Needs Reading Glasses After Groundbreaking New Surgery

    Captain A.J. Martinez has a ton of glasses for various things he needs to do like look at a computer and has many spares for wherever he goes. He turned to Dr. Robert Lin for the newly approved KAMRA eye surgery that the doctor says will enable him to read without glasses. The San Diego firefighter says he was blindsided when he turned 50 years old and suddenly "woke up in the morning and had blurry vision and I couldn't figure it out." Martinez says he felt great after the procedure and had no pain.
