Using a mapping device, the app tracks your location while you collect as many Pokemon characters as possible. But police think the "lure" feature of the game is dangerous. Meant to trick virtual creatures to go to your location, it also exposes vulnerable players to those with ill intent.

    Amanda Kofoed has four young children and with her diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma she was terrified she wouldn't be able to see them grow up and would saddle her family with medical bills for a long time. A GoFundMe campaign was set up to help with their bills, but a group of do-gooders called the PRAYnksters had something else in mind. They organized a flash mob with 200 people who donated $13,000 to give the family some relief.
