    Asher Nash was ready for his close up and finally got it. The 17-month-old with Down syndrome is the new face of OshKosh B'gosh's Christmas ad campaign, all because his mother refused to let anyone overlook him. Meagan Nash sent Asher's photos to modeling agencies, but when she learned the photos weren't being submitted for consideration on photo shoots she wondered why. A representative for an agency said it was because the ads didn't specify they were looking for children with special needs.

    A thief who was shamed on social media for taking holiday decorations from a New York home has since returned the goods with a letter of apology. A man reportedly seen in surveillance footage plucking the festive holiday laser lights from a Staten Island front yard recently was chastised by Community Education Council 31 President Michael Reilly on Facebook following the theft.
