    Former Wall Street Hotshot Defends Hamptons Bash: There Wasn't Any Damage

    The man who threw a party that reportedly rivaled pleasure fests depicted in "The Wolf of Wall Street," says stories about his gathering are greatly exaggerated. "We raised money for charity. It was good, clean fun," Brett Barna told CNBC after the Fourth of July bash in the Hamptons, New York's rich and trendy beach resort. Homeowner Omar Amanat said the party caused $1 million worth of damages. The festivities cost Barna his job, but he is adamant that his soiree caused little or no damage.

    At least 30 people are dead after a fire ripped thought a warehouse in Oakland, California where a party was reportedly going on. Some of the victims' families have been notified. Pete Wadsworth, Barrett Clark, Nex Iuguolo, and Travis Hough all lost their lives. The fire department says the warehouse did not have a sprinkler system, but it reportedly wasn't permitted to function as a party space or residence. Police are also reportedly investigating whether people were living in the building.

    2 Years After He Went Missing Woman Finds Grandson's Mummified Remains in Attic

    A woman discovered the mummified remains of her grandson in her attic -- two years after she reported him missing. 21-year-old DyQuain Rogers reportedly disappeared in November 2014. He was living with his grandmother at the time and she told police he left behind his wallet, phone, and keys. Police searched for him then, but it was not clear if they checked in the home's attic. Rogers was a volunteer firefighter who told his family he wanted to join the Navy or become an EMT.
