    Micaela was exposed to the Zika virus in the womb. Now at 2-months-old, she shows no signs of microcephaly - the birth defect caused by the disease. But a scan of her brain revealed some red flags, likely linked to Zika, a medical team in Miami explains. Her mother, Maria Mendoza contracted Zika during her first trimester in Venezuela. Throughout her pregnancy, her ultrasounds looked fine. Doctors call Micaela a medical mystery. It's unclear what issues could develop as she gets older.

    Fire Captain No Longer Needs Reading Glasses After Groundbreaking New Surgery

    Captain A.J. Martinez has a ton of glasses for various things he needs to do like look at a computer and has many spares for wherever he goes. He turned to Dr. Robert Lin for the newly approved KAMRA eye surgery that the doctor says will enable him to read without glasses. The San Diego firefighter says he was blindsided when he turned 50 years old and suddenly "woke up in the morning and had blurry vision and I couldn't figure it out." Martinez says he felt great after the procedure and had no pain.
