Charlie Sheen Bombs Then Wins in New York City

Charlie Sheen's erratic "Torpedo of Truth" tour arrived in New York City over the weekend, and while Sheen was booed off the stage on Friday, his Sunday performance received a standing ovation! INSIDE EDITION reports.

Charlie Sheen really wants his job back! The troubled star promises he'll do whatever it takes to return to TV's number one comedy.

"They want me to apologize," Sheen told the audience.

And he vowed to do just that, saying, "I will apologize, I will get back on that [expletive] show!""

Sheen got a rousing ovation from fans during his second show at New York City's famed Radio City Music Hall. It was a welcome relief for the actor, who was literally booed off the same stage two nights earlier.

The View's Sherri Shepherd was in the audience at Sheen's disastrous first performance.

"it was really like he was just kind of all over the place, he only did an hour, he didn't do the 80 minutes," Shepherd said.

But on Sunday night, Sheen did a good job of winning over the crowd.

And after that infamous meltdown at The Plaza Hotel, Sheen checked into the Trump International Hotel and Tower for his stay in the Big Apple. Owner Donald Trump says the actor is welcome back anytime.

"He has been absolutely a gentleman; the room has not been trashed. Charlie, I'm very proud of you," Trump told INSIDE EDITION.

The next stop on Sheen's "Torpedo of Truth" tour is Boston.
