Marie Osmond's appearance at the Hollywood Christmas Parade is causing some to wonder if she's had plastic surgery. INSIDE EDITION has more.
It might take you a moment to recognize her...believe it or not, it's Marie Osmond!
Marie wowed the crowd at the Hollywood Christmas Parade in more ways than one. To many, she looked nothing like the Marie who competed on Dancing with the Stars just a few years ago!
Has Marie had work done on her face? When asked recently how she felt about plastic surgery, Marie told Prevention magazine:
"We cherish youth more than we do wisdom. Will I do it? I'm sure. Nobody wants to have a saggy jowl. Is it bad to do? I don't think anything is bad if it makes you feel better."
Online reactions to the new Marie are brutal:
"She looks hideous!...Whatever happened to aging gracefully?" asked one commenter.
"AWFUL! Why do this to yourself - you looked fine before," wrote another.
Some are even saying she now resembles the Marie Osmond dolls she sells on QVC!
Marie has admitted to having undergone laser treatments, but not surgery.
INSIDE EDITION asked New York plastic surgeon Dr. Sharon Giese for her professional opinion.
Dr. Giese said, "She certainly looks pulled and lifted here, but what I'm also struck by is she's been overfilled. Her face has gone from a beautiful heart shape with beautiful full cheekbones to something that looks more square and masculine, actually."
When we asked Marie's spokesman if she's had any cosmetic procedures, he replied:
"Please don't waste my time with all this rubbish. With her current work schedule, she's lucky if she has time to pee."
But no matter what she has or hasn't had done to her face, Marie's fans are still happy to see her.
