Speaking to INSIDE EDITION at the scene, Dr. Anjali Ramkissoon said the fight started after a mix-up over who ordered the Uber car.

"I was very upset and there is no excuse for my behavior," she said. "It turns out it was me and another girl with a similar name, Angela. When the Uber driver showed up he said 'Angie,' I thought it was me so I jumped into the back of the car, but it was actually her Uber."

The 30-year-old doctor said she and her boyfriend had broken up just minutes before the incident. She said she “had a little too much” to drink that night.

She said she's thankful the Uber driver didn't press charges and that he has accepted her apology.

The video is “tough to look at,” she said, adding that her boyfriend has been "very supportive."

INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent asked: "Do you think this will ruin your career?"
