A Look at Kate Middleton's School Performance in My Fair Lady

INSIDE EDITION reports on future Princess Kate Middleton's starring role in a school production of My Fair Lady.

My Fair Katie! Long before she became known to the world as the princess bride, Kate Middleton played Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, the iconic role made famous by Audrey Hepburn.

A 12-year-old Kate confidently belted out songs in the school production, and she only had one tiny little flub, starting too soon on one verse.

INSIDE EDITION's Diane McInernery asked, "Do you give Kate's performance a thumbs up or thumbs down?"

Amanda Holden, a judge with Simon Cowel on Britian's Got Talent had this candid review, saying, "I do that (one thumb up one down). Some of it's good, some of it's shockingly bad. I think honestly, if she had come on our show Simon would have buzzed her. I would have been kind."

And 100 very lucky members of the general public will win a chance to attend the wedding of the century. That's right, Kate and William are holding a Willy Wonka-style golden ticket contest.

Holden said, "Gosh, could you imagine telling your granchildren 'I was a that wedding.' It's a brilliant idea."

Meantime, that see-through dress that Kate wore to woo her Prince charming is being auctioned off. Prince William is said to have fallen for Kate after seeing her wear the lacy dress during a charity fashion show in 2002. Now the sexy ensemble is expected to be sold for $160,000 during the auction.

Elton John, who famously sang at the funeral of William's mother, Princess Diana, appeared on Live With Regis and Kelly and talked about the immense pressure now facing the princess bride.

John said, "It's a major occasion and I hope she knows what she's gotten herself in for."
