Could Ted Williams Be the Voice of Oprah's Network?
Oprah Winfrey is offering a job to Ted Williams, America's golden-voiced ex-homeless man.
"I would like to see him be a part of the voice of OWN. It would be so fantastic to hear him say, 'The Oprah Winfrey Network.' "
Winfrey gushed to INSIDE EDITION about Ted's amazing story at the launch party for OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network in Los Angeles last night, saying, "The reason we're all so fascinated, I think, is because it means you can be homeless on the street, carrying a cart like we've all seen, and this can happen to you."
Ted was the talk of the red carpet. Everyone from Oprah's best friend Gayle King who said, "That voice can come out of that guy," to TV personality Lisa Ling who said, "Ted Williams is a decent man who made some wrong choices and has been given a second chance."
They were celebrating the premiere of OWN, and rejoicing in the story the entire nation can't stop talking about.
Winfrey said, "What the story means is that when you least expect it, wonder can happen in your life."
