Police in Los Angeles are asking for the public's help in their search for a suspect accused of raping a woman who got into his car outside a club as she mistook him for a car service driver.

The LAPD on Wednesday released a sketch of the man who they say first made contact with the woman outside a bar in Hollywood on January 2.

The woman entered the suspect's vehicle believing it was the ride-sharing car she had ordered. The suspect then drove the victim to a secluded location.

Once there, he sexually assaulted her, cops said.

Months later, cops hope to nab the assailant and ensure that no other unsuspecting woman falls prey.

According to the LAPD, the suspect told her he either lived or worked in the Long Beach area.

The victim also recalled the suspect's claim he owns an accounting business, and that his brother works with him, according to police. The suspect also claimed to have another brother in law enforcement.
