Urban Outfitters Backtracks On Blood-Soaked Kent State Sweatshirt

Urban Outfitters pulled a Kent State faux vintage sweatshirt that appears to be spattered in blood, after outrage exploded over what some say is a not-so-subtle reference to the 1970 fatal shootings. INSIDE EDITION has details.

Would you wear this?

It's a Kent State sweatshirt with what looks like splattered blood, and get this--it was selling for $129 on Urban Outfitters website and it sold out!

Some are saying the faux vintage sweatshirt is a not-so-subtle reference to the notorious shootings at Kent State University in 1970  that took the lives of four students.

Urban Outfitters quickly removed the sweatshirt off of its website after a firestorm of complaints, saying the company "sincerely apologizes for any offense."

Kent State also released a statement saying: "We take great offense to a company using our pain for their publicity and profit."
