79-Year-Old US Tourist Killed by Charging Elephant on Safari in Zambia

A 79-year-old woman was killed by an elephant while on a safari in Zambia. Gail Mattson was on vacation in Africa with family and friends. Sadly, Mattson lost her life in a tragic accident while on her dream adventure. The elephant attack happened in Zambia’s Kafue National Park. The owner of the safari company says the vegetation was so thick the guide was unable to move the vehicle out of harm's way.
