Court Rules Adnan Syed of 'Serial' Podcast Will Get a New Trial

Adnan Syed, the first subject of the popular 'Serial' podcast, will get a new trial. The Maryland Court of Special Appeals has upheld a lower court's decision to retry him. Syed has spent more than 18 years in prison for the murder of his former high school girlfriend, Hae Min Lee, in Baltimore. It's a crime he has long claimed that he did not commit.
