Woman Sets New Record With Highest Rope Climb at Eiffel Tower

It was a “monumental” challenge that this professional athlete took great pride in. Anouk Garnier is an elite obstacle course racer and set her sights on breaking the world record for highest rope climb, which she accomplished at the Eiffel Tower. Garnier climbed 110 meters, or more than 316 feet. The previous world record for climbing a vertically suspended rope was 90 meters, but those extra 20 meters were no easy task.
