Group Honors the Graves of Fallen Soldiers at Arlington With Wreaths

November 25, 2017

Every holiday season, volunteers place wreaths on soldiers' graves at Arlington National Cemetery. It's the work of a group called Wreaths Across America, started by the Worcester Wreath Company. They started in 2007 with about 5,000 wreaths, and this year, they expect to place a million and a half at more than 1,300 locations. People in any state can apply to have wreaths sent to cemeteries near them. Executive Director Karen Worcester says they are always in need of volunteers.
