This dolphin is a real trailblazer because many are hoping that it will help end animal captivity. It's not a real dolphin. It's a robot, weighing more than 500 pounds with silicone skin. It was created by a company called Edge Innovations, which has developed animatronics for movies like “Free Willy” and Deep “Blue Sea.” Designers say this dolphin could be a great alternative for water parks to use instead of real animals.
